About Us
Sheldon and Sheila Spilchuk both went to professional cooking school at SAIT in Calgary, Alberta, where they met and graduated together.
Sheldon discovered a love for meat cutting while there and chose to further his education at Olds College where he obtained his meat processing degree.
Sheila returned to Saskatchewan and began her career in health care. After Olds, Sheldon also returned to Saskatchewan.
In 1995, Sheldon & Sheila married and settled in the Estevan area. In 1996 they began a family and opened their family butcher shop, Spilchuk Meats.
With the growing phone calls asking them to cater functions, they decided to take that on as well. In 2010 they completed the construction of a 53’ mobile kitchen to work from and A Little Taste of Heaven Catering was born.
In 2023, Sheldon & Sheila amalgamated the two businesses and are happy to now present to you Spilchuk Meats & Catering.
Sheldon & Sheila have been serving the community for over 27 years.
